Quick verdict: The AB2100 is a replacement blade to consider when your EGO mower’s manual specifies it. Do not buy it simply because you have a 21-inch EGO mower. Single-blade and Select Cut systems require different parts.

Compatibility matters more than width
EGO lists AB2100 and AB2101 options for the LM2100SP/LM2102SP family. For another model or revision, use its own parts documentation before ordering. Do not substitute AB2100 for a blade with a similar part number, such as an AB2100D Select Cut component.
A blade is a rotating safety-critical part. Mounting geometry, the intended assembly and manufacturer approval matter alongside length. A visual resemblance does not establish fit.
When replacement is worthwhile
Have a dull, otherwise serviceable blade assessed for sharpening and balance. Damage or substantial wear can require replacement. If you notice vibration after an impact, stop and have the mower checked before continuing.

Standard blade or a different cutting option?
Choose among the options expressly supported by your mower. A high-lift or multi-blade assembly is not automatically an upgrade for every machine. We have no side-by-side cutting or runtime test that establishes the best blade for your lawn.
