Quick verdict: The EGO CH3200 is a practical single-port charger for EGO POWER+ 56V ARC Lithium batteries when you want shorter waits than the CH2100 and the price is favorable. If your current charger already gets the batteries ready before your next job, replacing it may buy you little.

Published charge times
| Battery capacity | CH3200 approximate time from empty |
|---|---|
| 2.5Ah | 35 minutes |
| 4.0Ah | 55 minutes |
| 5.0Ah | 70 minutes |
| 6.0Ah | 80 minutes |
| 7.5Ah | 100 minutes |
| 8.0Ah | 105 minutes |
| 10.0Ah | 135 minutes* |
| 12.0Ah | 160 minutes |
These are manufacturer estimates, not our stopwatch results. Starting charge, temperature and battery condition affect the wait. The 8.0Ah figure comes from EGO’s BA4480T page.
*EGO’s CH3200 and BA5600T product pages list 135 minutes for 10.0Ah; its 2026 catalog lists 130. We show the product-page figure and would plan for roughly 2¼ hours, rather than treat either estimate as a guarantee.
What does a faster charger change?
| For a 5.0Ah battery | Published time | Difference from CH3200 |
|---|---|---|
| CH2100 Standard | 100 minutes | 30 minutes longer |
| CH3200 | 70 minutes | Reference |
| CH5500 Rapid | 40 minutes | 30 minutes shorter |
| CH7000 Turbo | 30 minutes | 40 minutes shorter |
These figures are from EGO’s 5.0Ah battery page. The decision is whether that saved time solves a real interruption in your routine. Someone charging overnight has a different need from someone waiting mid-job with only one battery.
Compatibility and practical limits
EGO specifies the CH3200 for its POWER+ 56V ARC Lithium platform. It is not a cross-brand charger. One port means paired mower or snow-blower batteries must be charged sequentially on this unit; consider that workload before buying.
The US manual lists 120V AC, 60Hz input, a 320W rating and a 2.47-pound weight. EGO lists fan cooling, a five-level charge display and a three-year limited warranty; warranty eligibility and terms should be checked for the intended use.
Charging and fault checks
Use a dry location with clear vents and follow the temperature limits and indicator meanings in the manual. Do not open the charger or attempt a battery repair. A repeated fault does not by itself prove which item has failed; EGO’s manual describes checking with another compatible, undamaged pack. Stop using damaged equipment and contact service.
Before buying a replacement battery, read our battery runtime, charging and lifespan guide. For a mower that will not run, start with the electric mower troubleshooting guide.
Our recommendation
Compare the current CH3200 price against a faster charger and any battery-and-charger kit you already need. Buy the CH3200 when one-at-a-time charging suits your routine and its price makes sense. We have not measured efficiency, noise or charging speed ourselves.
