Research-based guide · Updated October 11, 2026. We use manufacturer specifications and care instructions. We have not personally tested the products discussed here.
Our assessment: The Toro L135, model 88625, is a 2.5Ah, 135Wh pack to compare for compatible Toro Flex-Force equipment when a smaller-capacity battery suits the job. It is not a promise of extended mower or snow-blower runtime.
Start with the tool’s approved battery list and minimum capacity requirements. A pack belonging to a platform does not mean it is the best practical choice for every tool or workload in that platform.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| 88625 / L135 | The model and capacity designation covered here |
| 2.5Ah | Rated electrical capacity, not a mowing-time guarantee |
| 135Wh | Rated energy capacity |
| 60V MAX | Maximum platform label; Toro also specifies 54V nominal |

Who should compare this pack?
An owner with a compatible tool and a modest job may value a smaller pack. For a longer mower route or demanding snow clearing, compare the tool’s recommended larger batteries and any required battery quantity. The right question is whether this pack fits the workload, not whether it can be described as a spare.
Compare a battery-only offer with an appropriate complete kit. Account for a compatible charger, seller, warranty and any older-stock condition. We have not tested this pack’s weight in use, runtime or long-term capacity retention.
Charging and storage
Use the charger models approved in the battery documentation. Charge and store within the specified temperature range, keep contacts protected from loose metal, and do not attempt repairs to the pack. A temperature-related charging delay is different from proof that the battery has failed.
The battery-life guide explains runtime versus service life. Before using existing mower batteries in winter equipment, read the snow-blower compatibility guide and then confirm the exact tool’s requirements.
Common questions
How many minutes will the L135 run my mower?
Capacity alone cannot answer that. Use the mower manufacturer’s guidance for this pack and allow for your grass and operating conditions.
Is every 60V battery interchangeable?
No. Match the named battery platform and approved models. Do not treat a similar voltage label as compatibility.
Does this battery include a charger?
Confirm the exact seller’s package. Do not assume that a battery-only listing includes one.
