The EGO AB2100D is the Extended Run Time blade set for selected 21-inch EGO Select Cut mowers. It contains an Extended Run Time lower blade and the upper blade used by EGO’s Multi-Blade System. Nuts and bolts are not included.
Our verdict: The AB2100D is the best of EGO’s three Select Cut blade sets when you want a balance of cut quality and battery runtime. It is not the dedicated mulching set despite the old title of this page. Choose the AB2101D for finer mulching or the AB2102D for stronger bagging lift.

Important correction: AB2100D is not the mulching set
The original article and several retailer titles called the AB2100D a “premium mulching” set. EGO’s current documentation identifies it as the Extended Run Time Blade Set. The dedicated mulching set is AB2101D.
The difference matters because each lower blade has a different priority. AB2100D aims for an all-around balance of cut quality and runtime. EGO does not publish a universal percentage or number of extra minutes for the blade alone, so any exact runtime promise would be misleading. Grass height, moisture, deck buildup, mower speed, battery condition, and cutting height all affect runtime.
Will the AB2100D fit your mower?
EGO’s current page lists LM2130, LM2133, LM2130SP, LM2135SP, LM2150SP, and LM2156SP. These models use the 21-inch Select Cut two-blade system.
A 21-inch deck and a 56V battery do not prove compatibility. EGO also makes single-blade 21-inch mowers and newer 22- and 30-inch designs. Match the complete model number on your mower label with EGO’s current compatibility information before ordering.
